Description
The Newlong NP-7A is a professional portable bag-closing sewing machine developed for businesses that require quick, secure and consistent sealing of filled bags.
Its single-thread chain-stitch system creates a dependable closure while still allowing the bag to be opened by pulling the thread when required. This makes it particularly practical for coffee, grain, flour, animal feed, fertiliser and other packaged agricultural or industrial products.
The machine can sew different packaging materials, including kraft paper, cotton, hessian, jute and PP/PE woven sacks. It can handle jute material up to approximately 8mm thick.
Fast and Reliable Bag Closing
Operating at approximately 1,700–1,900 revolutions per minute, the NP-7A can close a standard filled bag in roughly five to eight seconds, depending on the bag material and operator. This makes it suitable for low- and medium-volume production lines, manual packing stations and rework areas.
Built for Continuous Industrial Use
The NP-7A features a durable steel cam and an integrated oil-pump lubrication system that supplies oil to important internal moving parts. The simple mechanical construction supports dependable operation, straightforward servicing and reduced maintenance requirements.
